As I sat holding what on a handful of people have ever held in their life, I had to pinch myself at how cool this moment was.
This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Gavin Walker MBE. A Paralympian who won gold at the Tokyo 2020 games in wheelchair rugby.
A sport that is both technical and brutal in equal measure. It hasn't got the nickname 'Murderball' for no reason.
Gavin's been through a tremendous amount of adversity, but has inspiringly so, come out the other side an amazingly well rounded individual.
He shares with us the stories about the accident that caused him to be wheelchair bound. Plus some amazing insights into what it takes to mentally overcome such an ordeal.
Gavin has done amazing work helping others in his situation get through their injuries both mentally and physically and he is now in the process of preparing for the next Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.
A conversation I thoroughly enjoyed and one I'm sure you guys will take a lot from too.
